Russia launched an attack against the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv on Nov. 19, injuring nine men, officials reported.
The youngest of the victims is 18-years-old. He was hospitalized and is in serious condition, Governor Oleh Syniehubov reported. Four others have also been hospitalized and are in condition of moderate severity, he noted.
The full consequences of the attack are being determined.
Kharkiv has endured constant Russian attacks for over two years since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. The last few months have seen intensifying strikes against densely populated areas of the city.
Earlier on Nov. 18, Russian attacks across Ukraine killed at least 25 people and injured at least 79, with children and police officers among the casualties, regional authorities reported on Nov. 19.
